Branding Your Store
Make your storefront look professional and on-brand with custom visuals, SEO settings, and personalization options.
Store name and bio
Your store name appears at the top of your storefront, in browser tabs, and in customer-facing emails. Your bio is a short description that appears below your store name on your storefront.
To update these, go to Settings → Storefront in your dashboard. Keep your store name concise and your bio under two sentences for the best appearance.
Logo, favicon, and banner
Logo
Your store logo appears in the header of your storefront and on invoices. Upload a square image (recommended: 256x256 pixels or larger) in PNG, JPG, or WebP format. If you do not upload a logo, no placeholder will be shown — the logo area is hidden entirely.
Favicon
The favicon is the small icon that appears in browser tabs. Upload a square image (recommended: 32x32 or 64x64 pixels). PNG format works best. If you do not set a custom favicon, the default Sellvy icon is used.
Banner
The banner is a wide image displayed at the top of your storefront. Use it for seasonal promotions, brand imagery, or to showcase your products. Recommended dimensions: 1200x400 pixels. Leave it empty for a clean, minimal look.
SEO settings
Control how your store appears in Google search results and when shared on social media:
- •SEO title— The title that appears in search engine results. Defaults to your store name if not set. Keep it under 60 characters.
- •Meta description — A brief summary shown below the title in search results. Keep it under 160 characters and include keywords relevant to your products.
- •Social image (OG image) — The image shown when your store link is shared on Twitter, Discord, Facebook, or other platforms. Recommended: 1200x630 pixels.
Tip: Each product also has its own SEO settings. You can set a custom title and description per product from the product editor to improve search visibility for individual listings.
Social links
Add links to your social media profiles so customers can find you elsewhere. These appear as icons in your storefront footer. Supported platforms include:
- •Twitter / X
- •Discord
- •YouTube
- •Telegram
- •TikTok
- •Custom website URL
Set these up in Settings → Storefront → Social Links. Leave any field blank to hide that platform icon.
Custom CSS
For advanced customization, you can inject custom CSS into your storefront. This lets you override default styles, change fonts, adjust spacing, or apply any visual changes you want.
To add custom CSS, go to Settings → Storefront → Custom CSS and paste your styles. Changes take effect immediately.
Note:Custom CSS is available on the Pro and Business plans. Be careful with your changes — invalid CSS can break your storefront layout. You can always clear the custom CSS field to revert to the default appearance.
Maintenance mode
Need to make changes to your store without customers seeing a half-finished storefront? Enable maintenance mode from Settings → Storefront.
When maintenance mode is active:
- •Visitors see a “Coming soon” or “Under maintenance” page instead of your storefront.
- •No purchases can be made while maintenance mode is on.
- •You can still access your dashboard and make changes normally.
Toggle maintenance mode off when you are ready to go live again. Your storefront returns to normal instantly.
